What is the battery life for this device?
You can get up to 20 hours of battery life on one set of batteries, depending on the battery quality.
Please note, setting it to VOS (Voice Operated System - or voice activated) mode will not lengthen the battery life as the device will remain powered on and will consume battery even while in a standby state.

It is suggested that you use the HQ or SP for basic day to day recording (default is mono).
What size of memory card can this support?
You can use up to a 16GB card, class 4. Do not use anything higher or the device will not be able to record to it properly and will malfunction.
My battery keeps dying quickly after putting fresh lithium batteries in. Why?
This device can use alkaline batteries ONLY. Using lithium batteries can damage the device and shorten battery life.
I have multiple phone lines I want to record. Will this recorder multiple phone lines?
No. This is a single line recorder meant for an analog phone line. If you are unsure which type of phone line you have, you will need to contact your phone carrier. This will also have to connect to the phone that you intend to listen in on, it cannot be plugged into a jack in another room and record a conversation. You can always get longer phone cables at an electronics store if you are trying to use the recorder covertly without the person on the phone knowing it is there.Please see below for a copy of the User Guide and Manual for this device.
